WE ARE HAPPY YOU ARE here!

What to expect when you visit Living Waters Assembly of God

Living Waters Assembly of God (LWAOG) is located at 450 Davis Street, Greenfield, Massachusetts 01301.  Pastor David Levandusky was appointed to serve as Senior Pastor at the Church on September 1, 1989.  Please read more about Pastor David, and all of our church leaders here.

If you are yearning to find out more about Jesus, or you are already a believer and desire to build your relationship with Him, you are in the right place. Here at LWAOG, you can connect with a loving family in Christ, in fellowship, Bible studies, ministries, et cetera, where you will feel welcome, feel the presence of God, and can grow in and through Him. Our desire is that everyone who enters the doors of our church feels loved and supported, has all of the resources necessary to have a fulfilling relationship with Jesus every day, and is deeply inspired to make a difference in the world, both locally and globally.

Holy Communion, Prayer, Baptism in Water and Baptism in the Holy Spirit are important parts of the Assemblies of God Pentecostal beliefs. You can read more about these things at About Us and What We Believe.

We invite you to come in person and check out one of our Worship Services or other events,  join us on our Facebook page at @Living Waters Assembly of God, or view some of our Past Sermons here, or by visiting our new YouTube channel, LivingWatersAoG by clicking here.

We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so our goal is to make you feel welcome. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You will discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word, and lots of friendly people learning about and worshipping God together. We know you will find LWAOG a place where you feel you belong.

Look around our website, and see what you love about us! Come in person and feel God's presence! We would love to meet you!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us by filling out our Contact Form, where you can write a brief message, and we will respond as soon as possible, or you may reach us by telephone at (413) 773-9506.

We have also put together some answers to questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time, which you can see at Plan Your Visit here.

Atmosphere

It is important to us that you feel welcome when visiting.  Our music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless, and can be lively and unpredictable, as God's presence fills our chapel and worshippers. Along with musical instruments and singing, you may see some members of the congregation who worship with raised hands, clapping hands, joyful expressions, such as "Hallelujah," or worshipping and praising God out loud, while others are more reserved in their worship.

However you wish to worship, we are just happy to have you join us.

Family-Oriented

We are a family-oriented church, and we greatly value the entire family. No matter your family makeup, you are welcome at LWAOG, and we are excited you are considering being a part of our family in Christ!

Children are a gift from and for God. Psalm 127:3. We believe in God's Word that says, Teach children the right way, and when they are old, they will return to it. Proverbs 22:6.

Children's Church (ages 4-11 only) is held after Sunday morning worship music, so parents can relax and hear God's Word, while the children receive an age-appropriate, warm and loving environment, to encounter and learn about Jesus Christ.

We also have a nursery for parents with smaller babies or infants, who feel they must leave the chapel for any reason. The service is broadcast on a television in the nursery as well, for the parents' convenience.

Biblical Teachings

All of our Pastors take their worship and preaching very seriously, spending the few free hours of their day focused on personal prayer and Bible study. Every sermon is given with passion and love for God and His Word, and in sound, expository (clearly explained) preaching styles.

We place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word, and especially on the gospel of Jesus Christ. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a congregation and community to learn, be encouraged and be challenged by God's Word. Opportunities exist for  members to grow in fellowship, ministry, Church service, and otherwise be a part of a church family that lives out its faith together.
